The all-new 2008 Cadillac STS will be unveiled at the New York Auto show this week April 6-15. But Kevin Smith, Cadillac Communications Manager, gave a sneak preview to automotive journalists last week in Detroit. Here's some video from that event.

Fitted with a bevy of whiz-bang standard features and options, the STS can be outfitted as a comfortable corporate cruiser or a racy gadget-filled geek mobile. No matter into which camp you fall, the 2005 Cadillac STS will surely please all except Cadillac traditionalists. That demographic will want to examine the DeVille.

What we discovered during a week of driving all over Southern California might surprise you. It sure surprised us.
